Starr Codd: Online Business Coach & E-Comm Entrepreneur

Starr Codd:

"I can truly say that working with Sue has enabled me to hit six-figures in the online space in well under a year. Without the camera abilities, I would not have been able to connect with my audience and sell to my audience the way that I have. I can’t thank Sue enough! Her strategies have helped me to gain confidence, show up, stand out, and succeed!"

What we did:

I reviewed Starr's videos, then we meet 1:1 via Zoom and worked to conquer her self-consciousness in front of a camera so she could sound like herself. Next we identified the best place for her home studio. The best lighting for her needs. Chose colors to incorporate in her background to align with her other branding. And, how to express herself clearly and concisely. We then met fortnightly on Zoom for 2 months so Starr could refine and embed her personal video style.

Result:

Within the year, Starr had cracked her goal of breaking through to earn 6 figures in her coaching business.

Nic Fren: Real Estate Marketing Services for Agents & Digital Entrepreneur

Nic Fren:

"I'm more confident on camera and can deliver my message in a way my audience engages with that generates sales. Video is a key aspect of my marketing, and through the work with Sue, my company has gone onto win the 'Best Use of YouTube' at the Australian & New Zealand Social Media Institute awards 2 years in a row! I learned there's more to video than simply filming a piece of content and posting it. You need to look at every aspect. Lighting, visuals, what platform the video is going on, and how to get out a very clear and concise message. I've worked with Sue for about 4 years, she has been amazing for getting me & my clients confident on camera and delivering strategies that drive results. Thanks Sue."

What we did:

Nic was a confident speaker but found he was very nervous in front of a camera. He spoke way too fast, at times tripping over his words, and ended up rambling on way too long in his videos.

We worked together 1:1 over months, FtF, via Zoom and WhatsApp to conquer his nervous energy, find his focus in front of a camera, and how to prepare what he wanted to say so he didn't ramble on.

Result:

Nic went on to win the award for 'Best Use of YouTube' TWICE at the Australasian Social Media Marketing Awards. He's grown his Real Estate Marketing business into 9 countries, with 1500+ agents, and has contracted me to coach his clients too.

Jane Eyles-Bennet: Design Consultant & Property Flipping Coach

Jane Eyles-Bennet:

"Sue really helped me put together a professional look in my videos. I'm much clearer and more specific about what I want to say and also have an overall look that I want to project to my audience. Thanks, Sue, you were amazing."

What we did:

When Jane came to me she was doing videos in her car at school pick-up. She wanted help to create videos that had a lux-brand look. As a designer, she knew her presence in videos had to align with the level of the interior design services she provides her clients.

We met on Zoom, did a virtual tour of her home, looking for the best background and natural light sources for Jane to use in her video content. Then over a month of weekly 1:1 sessions, I reviewed how she was presenting in videos, also her wardrobe, and grooming. I also helped Jane to establish a framework for crafting concise and to-the-point messages for her videos.

Result:

Jane used Facebook to grow a large audience inside her Facebook group and has leveraged that into a thriving digital-based design consulting business. She's since gone on to create a video-based program, and been invited to guest on design shows on TV too.

Rob Garland: IT Sales Professional

Rob Garland:

"Sue’s feedback on my recent video campaign to educate clients and prospects on a new business solution was invaluable - she helped hone the message, teaching me to say in 2 minutes what I was originally saying in 5 - the video has cut through and the sales are following. If your sales team is looking to video as the next frontier of client engagement, then I’d strongly recommend getting Sue involved - she’ll tell you straight if your content is rubbish, and she’ll get you on track and on message much faster than trying to do in-house."

What we did:

Rob, as a salesman, was a confident speaker who knew that videos were the perfect way to present new products to his clients. Rob felt self-conscious talking to a camera, and getting to the point of his sales presentation was taking too long; he could see the time spent watching his sales video was very low -- and the phone wasn't ringing.
We worked together on Zoom to get him comfortable and authentic in front of a camera. Then I designed a step-by-step approach so Rob could quickly demonstrate the value of his new products so clients could easily see the benefits -- all in a much shorter video.

Result:

Rob's video view time numbers went up, and the phone started ringing. He now uses the same process to produce sales videos anytime he has a new product to launch.
